Dave's Deli - QueensBay

9th of September 2009.... 090909 in short. Went to QB for some mid-budget food.
Decided to try something we haven't try before. Dave's Deli. Alex still remembers his eldest sister used to bring him to Central Market to try the signature Foot-Long Sausage.

Mushroom Soup (Suspected Campbell)

2 in 1 Combo ( Lasagna & Spaghetti)
Looks good but taste....

Mix Grill (Battered Chic, Sausage & Beef patty)
Sausage & chic meat were nice....

Half chic + Mash potato + Coleslaw
The chicken meat is tender & juicy....
They (DD) claimed it's the best grilled chic in town....not bad...

Hawker Stall - Sunshine Market

Miho was thinking about Tomyam for the past few days. After getting approval from Alex, today, is the day..HAHA!! Tomyam mee in sunshine market hawker centre is nice. The stall is named Lai Hoe. You can find it in Sunshine Square Foodcourt as well. Alex chose to have fried rice. The fried rice is nice too! RM3.50 for each dish, cheap cheap cheap!!!

Food Court - Sunshine Bayan Baru

Planned to get something from Sunshine Square, at the same time, to fulfill Miho's wish, as she already mumbled for the past few days about wanting to eat TomYam. She was so happy on the way there to Bayan Baru. However, the mood turned blue when we found out both stalls in sunshine market hawker centre and sunshine square were closed. We turned to the other option of having rice set in sunshine square food court.
Gong Poh CHicken = RM4.00

Mango Pork rice = RM4.00

Eighteen - Krystal Point

It is Wednesday!! No reason for celebration. But decided to treat ourselves a better meal.
Miho used to reject Eighteen, due to some unhappy incident before. But she cannot resist the mushroom soup.. We decided to hop in.
The mushroom soup was sold out. We decided to try out the pizza, and a set dinner.
The set dinner included appetizer, soup and bun, tea, dessert and a maincourse.
Appertizer : Fried spring roll

Fresh Apple Juice (Ala-carte)

Appetizer(Ala-carte): Lamb Koftas serve with cream.
This is nice, match with the cream served.

Bun & Tomato Soup. We love the soup, it is a mixture of sweetness from the tomato, spiciness from the cili-padi. It was appetizing!!

Salmon with Red Wine Sauce . It was served with crispy yam slices, brocolli, and charboiled potato slices. You should have the salmon together with the onions on top, where the red wine's aroma was hidden.

Thin crust Greek Special, with beef pepperoni.
The cheese was blended so well with the crust. we will visit again to try other thin crust pizza. :)

Top view of the pizza.

Funny Dessert, we did not expect they served chiffon cake.

The thin crust pizza was really tasty!! Recommended!

Goh Teo Kee - Sg.Nibong

Due to we did not eat the char koay teow on the visit with Melene and Jack, we decided to visit Dhobu Ghaut today. But we were so disappointed...the char koay teow stall is still not open for business... Lazy to move to other places, hopped in Goh Teo Kee just beside Dhoby Ghaut. We ordered the RM38.80 package for 2 person.

The menu and the snack

Seaweed fishball soup...dislike the fishball

The teo chew style steamed cabbage, juicy vege.

Teo Chew style Steamed fish, in sour taste.

Pandan chicken and Thai fishcake

Barley dessert

Comment : Maybe we'll like it when we get older, but not now....haha
