Weekend Date

It has been a long time since our last date. We were so busy with the new things in our life. We decided to leave everything behind but only us.
1st, we cleaned the house together. Erm, practically, Miho completed the light job and continue to plow her farm in FaceBook. Alex took care of the rest.
2nd, went out for a dinner. We planned to go Pulau Tikus to try the beef noodles. Ended up we surrendered to the traffic and our stomach, we were starving and cannot go that far. We had our dinner in Little Cottage, near to New World Park. It was recommended by a friend before.
The only dish we like, chicken soup.

Little Cottage Style Sizzling Chicken, the taste is just not worth to pay the price.

The lobster and chicken combo, the sauce is the same as the sauce for sizzling chicken.
No thumbs up. Sorry... ...
After our dinner, we went to Gurney Plaza. We are supposed to do window shopping before a movie. Ended up we spend most of our time visiting a property exhibition. We acted like serious buyer and asked a lot of questions. Can't imagine the 800++ square feet house cost RM290k for lower floor and no balcony. Only 6 or 8 high floors will has the balcony. Some more the units with balcony which does not face to the cemetery was sold out. Anyway, we are not going to buy it.
After the "Q&A session", we went to rest our legs in Manila Place. We ordered caffeine drinks and a snack platter. We liked the ambience, quite nice for romantic mood. :)

After the supper, we went to watch the comedy "Couples Retreat". :)

Luckily we both are in love with our best friend, luckily we both hold hands to go through every single details in our life, luckily we have each other... :)

Watermelon Magic

We bought a watermelon before we finish the stock in the fridge. We put it on the floor next to our dining table. After 6 days, we smelled garbage in our house... After sniffing around... IT WAS THE MELON!!!
From far away, when Miho dare not to touch the bag, you can see fluid filled up the bag.

Close up look... EEuuukkkk!!!! Geli.....
Moral of the story:
1. Don't buy watermelon from Tesco?
2. Don't buy watermelon?
3. Don't put the water melon on the floor?
4. Don't eat water melon?
Hahaha...
Is don't buy water melon when you haven't finish the watermelon in your fridge.

Manhattan Fish Market

The next restaurant which we haven't step into, in Queensbay Mall, is the Manhattan Fish Market. We don't quite really like the food. The seafood is not fresh enough and oily. No more next time. I think we said this before... haha...

Korean Food, Daorae

It was a rainy day. It will be so great if we can have a warm pot in our hand. Currently, we are looking at our tight budget on daily expenses. We supposed to go hawker centre to have dinner which will only cost us less than RM15. Alex make a turn in Bukit Jambul roundabout and lead the car to Daorae... Haha!
We ordered the Beef Stew (RM19, includeed a bowl of rice) and a bowl of rice(RM5.00).
The drinks and the side dishes are free and bottomless. Previouly, we would order 2 BBQ set and the stew, if you read our blog before...Due to budget constraint, we only order the stew, and ask for refill on the side dishes. We ate 11 plates of side dishes. :)
The night was good with the hot soup!
Blur photo... I guess is because the weather is cold and we are starving... cause hand shaking. :)

Bak Kut Teh in Sg Nibong

We were supposed to go Yi Pin tonight. However, it was close on Monday. So, we had the Bak Kut Teh at the corner. A lot of people was waiting for the food. After we tried, we decided not to come back. It is just not to our taste. The Yau Char Guai and the meatball was too soft... The taste of the soup, erm.. just not right.

Verdict: Reject

Chicken Rice Shop and Stabucks, Queensbay

It is easier to decide what to eat in Queensbay now, go to the restaurant which we never step into. Today's pick : Chicken Rice shop. We had it before in other places, but not Queensbay.

After our dinner, we went to Starbucks in the Borders.
The guy is really concentrating on his photography books. :)

Grasshopper and Miho in MCT

This is a thing that you don't see everyday. A baby grasshopper standing on Silvy's side mirror. We noticed it when we started the engine. We thought it will jump away. But it was so strong that it stood there until Miho reached her company. No matter how strong was the wind blow, how shaky the journey was, it was still standing. Salute! Mr or Ms greenie!

Miho took a picture of mighty greenie before steping into her office.

While waiting for Alex to go home, Miho took a shot on her cubical. TaRa! The messy messy table.
Hand made calendar, paying for a cause.

Why tasty food is running away from me???

It has been a very busy week.
After the printing job, dropped by Perkaka for our dinner.
I miss the fried jawa mee... Planned to get 2 packet for myself. :)

After I ordered the Fried Rice for hubby, I can't find the Jawa mee stall... OMG!!
She is gone!! I went to the front and the back and the left and the right of the restaurant.
I should take the photo of the lady and the stall... so that i can advertise to find her... haha!

Double Good, Batu Maung

Tonight, Alex had to work OT for the new project. Miho had her dinner with him and his colleagues before going home. Miho went to Double Good in Batu Maung with her colleagues before. The set meal is just nice for 2 person, erm, more specific, the 2 person is Alex and Miho. This is because Tany feels very very full with the meal when she shared with Miho... stuffing up her tiny stomach. Haha!

Snack time ! Capri dessert.

After the visit to Sis's ex-house in Vista Komanwel, we went to Capri Dessert with mummy. The food seems nice. We spent RM30++ for only 5 desserts. Erm, for Miho, the price quite expensive as the food portion is small.
